In 1965 The Family of Mr. Frank-Lin & Lindley Maestri moved from Hawaii to San Jose, California were they established Frank- Lin Distillers Ltd.

Our Love For Tequila

In 2008 Mr. Michael & Celia Maestri moved from Houston, Texas to Tequila Jalisco, where they established Destiladora del Valle de Tequila Distillery. Also known as “Casa Maestri” which is recognized as a one of the best Tequila producers in Mexico.

Having grew up in their families’ businesses of Wines & Spirits, their desire to create the smoothest of tequilas and be recognized as one of the best and most presitigous distilleries in the world has become a reality.

The result of this effort goes around the world, Casa Maestri has customers from over 20 countries such as USA, Russia, India, Germany, UK, Colombia, Argentina, China, Brazil, Puerto Rico, Ukraine, Turkey, South Korea, and many more.

Casa Maestri Reserva de MFM

Casa Maestri is the flagship brand of the Casa Maestri Distillery, founded and led by Celia Maestri. Each bottle embodies the spirit of Mexico—celebrating its rich culture through the traditions of Charrería, Mariachi, and the enduring romance and mystique of authentic Mexican heritage.

The Reserva de MFM ceramic bottles are handcrafted works of art, designed by Mrs. Celia Maestri in collaboration with renowned ceramic artist Óscar Reynoso Becerra from Guadalajara, Jalisco.

The tequila’s profile was developed by Michael Maestri in partnership with esteemed tequila expert Ana María Romero.

This brand proudly holds a Kosher certification, is gluten-free, low in carbohydrates, and crafted using time-honored methods. It is made from 7-year-old blue agave, slow-cooked in traditional stone brick ovens for a truly authentic flavor.

Casa Maestri was the top Blanco Tequila at the 2025 WSTA, winning Double Gold and Best in Class honors.

El Padrino

The name “El Padrino” traces back four generations to the town of Santa Inés in Michoacán, Mexico. It honors Pedro Barragán, a respected rancher known affectionately as “El Padrino” for his generous and protective spirit toward the local communities. Created at Casa Maestri by his granddaughter, Celia Maestri Villanueva, this brand was crafted to celebrate his enduring legacy.

Agavales

Agavales tells the story of the first ever crafted by the Maestri-Villanueva family, over 25 years ago.

Born in the sun-drenched fields of Jalisco, Mexico, Agavales is nurtured under the watchful eyes of master distillers. It’s made with care, built to endure, and meant to be savored.

Chaquira

I

nspired by the vibrant colors and culture of the Huichol people, Reserva del Jaguar Chaquira is a 100% Agave tequila line honoring the indigenous culture of northern Jalisco and Nayarit. The name “Huichol” comes from the word Wirrárika, meaning “soothsayer” or “medicine.” Known for their intricate beadwork and sculptures, the Huicholes’ artistry is reflected in the craftsmanship of this tequila.

Tuyo

Tuyo Tequila is a premium brand crafted by Casa Maestri in Jalisco, Mexico. The name “Tuyo,” meaning “yours,” reflects the brand’s commitment to delivering a personalized and exceptional tequila experience. Tuyo Tequila is distinguished as the world’s first complete line of Cristalino tequilas, offering expressions in Blanco, Reposado, Añejo, and Extra Añejo, each aged in 10-year-old bourbon barrels and refined into Cristalino .

The agave used in Tuyo Tequila is sourced from both the highlands and lowlands of Jalisco, combining the bright, citrusy notes of highland agave with the earthy, spicy characteristics of lowland agave. This blend results in a bold, unique, and sophisticated flavor profile .

Each bottle is adorned with a Swarovski crystal gold necklace, adding a touch of elegance to its presentation. Tuyo Tequila has garnered recognition for its exceptional quality and craftsmanship, making it a standout choice for tequila enthusiasts seeking a refined and luxurious experience.

Doña Celia Tequila

he iconic “Calavera Catrina,” created by José Guadalupe Posada between 1910-1913, was originally a satirical image. 

Today, it inspires the unique packaging of Doña Celia Tequila, a premium brand crafted at Casa Maestri Distillery in Jalisco, Mexico. Named after a beloved matriarch, it honors Mexican heritage through both its spirit and distinctive packaging.

Craftsmanship & Expressions

Made from 100% blue Weber agave, Doña Celia offers Blanco, Reposado, and Añejo expressions. The Blanco is unaged, showcasing fresh agave and citrus notes. The Reposado is aged for six months in American oak barrels, developing flavors of toasted oak, black pepper, and caramelized fruit. The Añejo, aged for at least a year, presents a richer profile with dried fruit, dark chocolate, and toasted oak flavors. 

Packaging & Cultural Significance

Each bottle is a handcrafted ceramic figure inspired by “La Calavera Catrina,” a satirical image created by José Guadalupe Posada in 1910. This figure has become a symbol of Día de los Muertos and Mexican culture.
